Liberty Bank for Savings has named Jerry A. Kussy as Vice President.  The Park Ridge resident joined Liberty Bank in 2010 as Loan Production Manager, a position he has held until the recent promotion. He has also worked management positions for several mortgage institutions in the suburbs of Chicago throughout his successful 12 year career.

A State of Illinois Loan Originator License holder, Kussy is an accredited member of the Illinois Association of Mortgage Professionals. He also owned Profile Mortgage, in Des Plaines, for two years before he successfully sold the company to their number one competitor before coming to work at Liberty Bank. He resides in Park Ridge with his wife Tina and 6 year old twins.

In other personnel matters, Liberty Bank has appointed James J. Grady to its Board of Directors.  With a total of 36 years of experience with Ernst & Young, Grady was a partner in Ernst & Young’s financial institution and real estate practice in Chicago for 23 years.  He was partner on audits of financial institutions, brokerage firms, mutual funds, common trusts funds, finance companies and mortgage companies.

As an independent consultant, he has given financial and accounting advice to Liberty as well as other financial institutions.  An expert in generally accepted auditing standards and accounting principles and in addition to other financial matters, he has provided expert opinions and testimony in many lawsuits and disputes.   

Currently licensed CPA in the State of Illinois, Grady is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He is also a Commercial Arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association. Grady received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University.  He and his wife, Pat, reside in Indian Head Park, Illinois; they have three adult children and three grandchildren.
