The 21^st Crop Walk for Niles-Park Ridge was held Oct. 21 starting from Redeemer Lutheran Church in Park Ridge. Over the first 20 years, Maine Township’s Food Pantry has received approximately $85,000 from the walk against hunger proceeds.

Supervisor Carol Teschky of Maine Township thanked the event organizers and walkers and then led the procession with her granddaughter, Taylor Franzen, age 6.

Pantry Coordinator Carol Langan was on hand to also thank the crowd of several hundred for their participation and ongoing support of the Township pantry operation.
