“Park Ridge in 1913” Now On Display at the Library

During the month of January the Park Ridge Public Library will host a special 100th Anniversary display that offers a glimpse into the life of our community during the period the first library was being built.

In addition to photos and artifacts showing civic and cultural activities of the period, you can find original book catalogues, check out ledgers, notes left by first librarian Ruth Colman, and other bits of historical library trivia.

For more information about the 2nd Floor Library exhibit, please call 847-720-3209.

The Library wishes to thank the Park Ridge Historical Society for generous assistance provided during the creation of this display.
