First Ever Park Ridge Pizza Fest Set For September

The inaugural Park Ridge Pizza Fest will be on Friday and Saturday, September 7-8 near the intersection of South Prospect and Summit Avenues.

 

Park Ridge will enjoy saucy toppings, cool tunes and more at the inaugural Park Ridge Pizza Fest on Friday and Saturday, September 7-8.

Presented by the Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce, this post-Labor Day community celebration will take place in downtown Park Ridge at the intersections of South Prospect and Summit Avenues in the shadow of the art deco movie Pickwick Theatre, a press release states.

In addition to pies (Caponie's Trattoria and Beggars Pizza are among the vendors) and a kids' area with inflatables and crafts, Friday night's music stage headliner is legendary Brit rockers Foghat while on Saturday it's acclaimed guitarist Daryl Stuermer of Genesis/Phil Collins fame.

Fest hours are 5 p.m.-11 p.m. on Friday, and Noon-11 p.m. on Saturday. The  suggested gate donation is $5.
