Park Ridge Park District Meeting On Land Buy, Potential Referendum
The Park Ridge Park District is holding an informational meeting Wednesday on plans to buy the Youth Campus property.
The Park Ridge Park District wants to know what the public thinks of plans to purchase The Youth Campus property.
The meeting will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 733 N. Prospect Avenue, Wednesday, July 25.
The Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reported that the district is considering a referendum asking voters for permission to issue bonds to buy the 6.85 acre site for $3.86 million.
Park officials will present preliminary plans for the proposed purchase and seek feedback from residents. Residents also can email the park district on its website.
