Jolly Old St. Nicholas will lend a festive spirit to the seventh annual Holiday Open House for the entire community which will be held at The Summit of Uptown, 10 N. Summit (at Touhy) in Park Ridge, Saturday, Dec. 8.  Families and friends will gather for a bountiful Breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m.

A visit with Santa and a photo opportunity will be part of the morning which will include caroling and free toys for good girls and boys. Open to everyone, admission is $12.50 for adults and children 8 and up, $10 for adults and children 8 and up who are family members of Summit residents, and $6 for all children ages 4 through 7. 

Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite Christmas tree decorated by children from area schools and organizations.  Participating groups include St. Paul of the Cross School fourth graders; Carpenter School third graders; Washington School second grade Girl Scout Troop # 41630; Washington School third grade Girl Scout Troop #1799; Washington School third grade Girl Scout Troop #549; and Field School second grade Wolf Scouts. 

Those who attend are asked to bring a non-perishable food item which will be distributed to local food pantries by the Park Ridge Human Needs Task Force.  For reservations, call 847-825-1161, ext 129 by Dec. 5.  Seating is limited.
