St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Park Ridge will present its 73rd annual Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 2, at 4:00 p.m. All of the church’s vocal choirs, together with a variety of instrumental ensembles (including Bell Choir, Orff Ensemble, Flute Choir, Recorder Consort and Chamber Orchestra), will lead the congregation in this traditional seasonal service. Established in 1914 by 16 charter members, St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Park Ridge offers regular services, Sunday school classes, Bible study and community outreach programs. Throughout the year it also hosts events, including Jul Fest, Easter brunch, spaghetti dinner, a golf outing and the Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Players.
