Thanks to the generous donation of a variety of
frozen pies Thanksgiving for those receiving food from the Maine Township
Emergency Food Pantry will be a little more tasty.

The Market Day volunteers at
Washington School
in Park Ridge donated over 40 frozen pies for
use with the traditional Thanksgiving boxes of food issued by Maine Township.

Here, l to r, are Supervisor Carol A. Teschky, Food Pantry Coordinator Carol Langan, Adriana Andreolas, Sam Andreolas, and
Renee Andreolas. The Andreolas family from Park Ridge helped deliver the pies.

The
demand on the food pantry is partially heavy during the major holidays and
winter, according to Teschky. All cash and food donations are gratefully accepted.

For information or assistance with food pick-ups, contact Langan at
847-297-2510.
