Summit Hosts Successful Downton Program at PR Library

Over 90 people enjoyed a unique experience of hearing the story of the real Downton Abbey as told in the first person by Actress/Storyteller Lynne Rymarz as Lady Almina on April 15.

The free program was sponsored by The Summit of Uptown as part of its ongoing series of presentations and events for the community. The event included sampling of a Lady Almina tea blend created by Tea Lula, Park Ridge, and tea sandwiches and dessert cakes prepared by Chef Dave Marino of The Summit.

Here, l to r, are Sheila Duda, owner of Tea Lula; Rymarz; Irene Sawka, Administrator of The Summit of Uptown; and Laura Scott, program coordinator at the Park Ridge Library.
