Winterfest in Park Ridge, 11/29

The Park Ridge Chamber of Commerce staff has been as busy as Santa’s elves preparing for our annual Winterfest.  In addition to great activities at the Park Ridge Public Library, Winterfest weaves shops, restaurants, and civic groups together in one fun celebration!  Residents of all ages will enjoy the Chamber’s trolleys running between Uptown and South Park, the special offerings we coordinated from local stores and restaurants, and the lovely sound of carolers we recruited for your pleasure.  The Chamber’s luminaria decorations, installed with the help of local Boy Scouts, will add traditional sparkle. The Chamber also enrolled the Park Ridge Garden Club to judge this holiday season’s Best Decorated House (the winner will receive a Chamber gift certificate, of course!) Behind the scenes, the Chamber worked with the City of Park Ridge and the Park Ridge Park District to coordinate signs, trucks, and permits for the event and the use of Hodges Park. All the details are in place, so bring the family and be sure you pick up the Chamber’s Winterfest 2013 coupon booklet for great deals all around the town.  Thanks to our hardworking, creative staff and all the volunteers and merchants who make Winterfest a warm welcome to the holiday spirit!
