Judge Tony Kyriakopoulos Endorsed by Former Cook County Judges

Judge Tony Kyriakopoulos has received the endorsement of the following former Cook County judges in his bid to retain his seat in the 10th Subcircuit:  Judge Daniel J. Kelley, Judge Arthur Perivolidis, Judge John E. Morrissey, Judge James D. Egan, and Judge Henry R. Simmons.  All have noted Judge Kyriakopoulos’ high level of integrity and extensive experience—both in the state’s attorney’s office for 20 years and as a judge for the past four years—as key to their support of the candidate.

“I have known Judge Kyriakopoulos since his days as an Assistant State’s Attorney when he practiced law before me on a daily basis,” stated Judge Kelley.  “At that time it was apparent that he was a hard- working and highly qualified individual whose integrity was beyond reproach. His knowledge, manner and professional demeanor represented to me the attitude and dedication to the legal profession that served the citizens of Cook County well.  He has carried these qualities with him into his judicial assignments. Honesty, knowledge of the law, candor and integrity are traits that are required of great judges and Judge Kyriakopoulos possesses all of those in abundance. I whole-heartedly support his candidacy for Judge of the Circuit Court.”
