Crystal Lake Man Missing in Aurora Colorado Movie Theater Shooting
Media reports state the Crystal Lake South graduate, now enlisted in U.S. Navy, attended the midnight moving showing and has not been accounted for by relatives.
Crystal Lake native John T. Larimer was inside the Aurora, Col., movie theatre for the midnight showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" when a gunman entered and began shooting, according an article in the Daily Herald.
Larimer, a graduate of Crystal Lake South High School, is in the U.S. Navy and stationed in Aurora, Col., the Chicago Sun Times reported.
Scott Larimer, John's father, told the Chicago Sun Times that his family has frantically been attempting to contact their son who they believe went to see the movie with friends, also servicemen, the Sun Times reports.

Twelve people died in the shooting, and 59 people were injured. The Los Angeles Times is reported that a Navy sailor is believed to be among the dead.
The Army Times reports that five U.S. sailors were known to be inside the Century 16 Theater Complex. One sailor was unaccounted for as of 5 p.m. Friday.
