Illinois, Cook County, Chicago and Local Police Assemble for Memorial in Park Ridge

Members of many law enforcement agencies including state and local police gathered with community members to honor those killed in the line of duty in Park Ridge on Monday.
Members of the Illinois State Police Department, Cook County police, the Chicago Police Department and local police departments including Park Ridge, Niles and Des Plaines, participated in the ceremony, which was hosted by the Park Ridge Police Chaplains Association.
The ceremony also commemorated National Police Week, which is May 12 to May 18.
