Park Ridge Police Blotter: DUI Leads to Crash

Drug paraphernalia

Christopher Rychilinski, 22, of Park Ridge, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 11. Rychilinski was charged in the 1900 block of Prospect Road around 12:49 a.m., police said.

DUI

Brian Pressney, 28, of Niles, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 11. Pressney was stopped near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Greenwood Avenue for speeding around 9:20 p.m.

Trespassing

A 16-year-old male was charged with trespassing in the 1100 block of Dee Road on Sept. 7.

Underage drinking

A 16-year-old male was charged with underage drinking in the 1100 block of Dee Road on Sept. 11.

A 14-year-old male from Niles was charged with underage drinking in the 100 block of Busse Highway on Sept. 15.

Burglary

Samantha Locascio, 19, of Chicago, was charged with residential burglary on Sept. 7.

Arrested, again

Javier Zurita, 19, was arrested at Cook County Jail in Maywood on a charge that occurred in Park Ridge on Sept. 7. Zurita is alleged to have obstructed a police officer.

DUI leads to crash

Victor Ramirez-Morales, 21, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, no valid driver’s license and damage to city property. A witness told police he saw Ramirez-Morales drive his car into a tree and flip over, police said.

The car landed on it's roof and once again on all four tires, the report stated. The driver was taken to the hospital to treat non-life threatening injuries. No bystanders were injured.

Ramirez-Morales was arrested in the 1800 block of Cumberland Avenue on Sept. 16 around 4:40 a.m. His court date is Oct. 18.

Warrant arrest

Diana Magda, 28, of Chicago, was arrested in the 1900 block of Birch Avenue on Sept. 16. Magda had a warrant out for her arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol from a previous date.
