Park Ridge Police, School District 64 Receive Grants

The Park Ridge police department is getting about $40,000 through a state grant. Meanwhile, School District 64 is getting a new roof through a grant as well.

The Park Ridge police department is slated to receive a government grant of around $40,000 thanks to Illinois State Rep. Rosemary Mulligan (R-65th), according to the Journal Online.

In addition, Park Ridge-Niles Elementary School District 65 will receive $50,000 in grant funding. That money will be used to add a roof to a new school building, the Journal reported.

Mulligan applied for the state grant about one year ago and recently was notified about the approval.
