Park Ridge Police Blotter: Champagne Stolen, Cars Burglarized and More

Cars Burglarized

An unlocked 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix was entered sometime between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. June 15 in the 1500 block of W. Touhy Avenue and took a change purse, credit card and driver's license.

An unlocked 2004 Honda Civic was entered in the 1600 block of W. Dempster Street sometime between 6 p.m. June 18 and 8:30 a.m. June 19 and took a stereo faceplate and a GPS unit.

An unlocked 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe was entered in the 1700 block of W. Dempster Street between 1:20 a.m and 4:30 a.m. June 19 and a GPS unit was taken.

The passenger side window of a 1999 Infiniti QX4 was damaged in the 1500 block of Stewart Avenue sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. June 20 and a purse containing credit cards, money and a Social Security card was taken.

Champagne Taken

Two men removed two bottles of champagne from a display and left a store in the 900 block of W. Touhy Avenue without paying. The incident occured June 15 at 9:55 p.m.

Bike Thefts

A bicycle was removed from an unlocked garage in the 600 block of S. Cumberland Avenue sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. June 18.

A woman's unsecured, purple bicycle was taken in the 700 block of Busse Highway sometime between 10 p.m. June 18 and 8 a.m. June 19.

Purse Lost

A woman's purse fell out of her car while she was making a turn a Touhy Avenue and Western Avenue at 2:30 p.m. June 18. The purse contained a wallet, credit cards, a Social Security card, driver's license, money, cell phone and miscellaneous items. She could not find the purse.
