Park Ridge Police Supporting Special Olympics

The Park Ridge Police are planning several events in support of Special Olympics.

The Park Ridge Police Department are planning several fundraising events around the city to support Special Olympics.

"Special Olympics makes a tremendous difference in the lives of thousands of athletes and their families,” stated Police Chief Frank Kaminski in a press release.  “The Park Ridge Police Department has long been a proud supporter of Special Olympics’ mission.”

Among the events planned:

  • Cop on Rooftop at both Park Ridge Dunkin Donut locations, 2606 W. Dempster and 1129 W. Touhy Avenue, June 1.
  • Torch Run on June 10th on Dempster St from Northwest Hwy to Milwaukee Ave.
  • Spare Change for Real Change, canning event on July 20.
  • Plane Pull at O’Hare Airport on September 15.
