Park Ridge officials are considering tougher policies to deal with underage drinking, the Park Ridge Herald-Advocate reported.

The changes would include requiring those charged with underage drinking receive an alcohol and drug assessment, completing a treatment program and completing an education program, the newspaper reported. Also, fines would rise from $500 to $1,000
