Winning Logo, Quotation Selected for Maine South's 50th Anniversary
The school will celebrate 50 years during Homecoming weekend this year.
“Soaring to excellence one Hawk at a time” will be the quotation used to represent Maine South High School’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Laura Olson of Park Ridge submitted the winning quote that was chosen by the 50th Anniversary Committee. The winning logo for the celebration was created by Delaney Bean (Class of 2013). It features the Maine South logo with the words “Maine South High School, Celebrating 50 Years” surrounding it.
The 50th anniversary celebration for the school will take place during Homecoming weekend, which is scheduled for Sept. 27-29.
